Ray Breslin (President)

Ray Breslin has lived full time in Miami Beach, specifically the Lake Pancoast Area within the Collins Park Neighborhood, since 1998. He arguably knows more aboutthe Collins Park Neighborhood and all the city and private development projects within this neighborhood than any other citizen. He is 100% dedicated to the quality of life issues facing the Collins Park Neighborhood.

Ray feels that the CPNA has the ability to learn and improve on every other neighborhood that has developed before to make Collins Park South Beach s final masterpiece and third distinct tourist destination (Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road being the other two).

Mr. Breslin's qualifications:

A graduate from the city's first Leadership Academy
A graduate from CMB's CERT program
A graduate from the 29th Citizen's Police Academy.
President of the Mantell Condominium Association
Treasurer of the Golden Gate Condominium Association
President of the Collins Park Neighborhood Association
A board member on the Collins Park Cultural Oversight Committee.
A member of Mayor Dermer s newly formed Blue Ribbon Committee CANDO whose mission is to be the catalyst to help spur a wonderful and successful neighborhood for arts related mixed-use and community gatherings by creating an overlay district with incentives to accomplish these goals.

He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has spent his entire career in Sales and Management in many industries including travel and real estate. Currently he and his partner, Patrick Pecoraro, operate Bresaro Suites at the Mantell Plaza on 24th Street. (www.bresaro.com)

In addition to all of his volunteer positions, he and Patrick are upper level donors to Miami City Ballet, Friends of the Library and The Bass Museum. These 3 organizations are the cornerstones of Collins Park. Ray feels if we do not take care of what is in our backyard it will die and go away. The City of Miami Beach cannot be expected to do this alone. It must be a community effort to sustain them.

Ray's sole goal is to work tirelessly to make a difference in the quality of life for himself and all of those around him. His efforts are currently focused in Collins Park that is within the City Center's RDA program.
