Nathan Lieberman

Nathan Lieberman is the co-owner of The South Beach Group, a burgeoning independent Art-Deco boutique hotel company in South Florida and well as Executive Producer of Beach Pictures, a Miami bases production company.

As a hotelier, restaurateur and producer, Lieberman co-owns and operates operates restaurants, bars and nine art- deco award-winning hotels on South Beach and one in Hollywood Beach, FL including The Shelley; The Whitelaw; The Chesterfield Hotel & Suites; The Hotel Chelsea; The Catalina Hotel & Beach Club; Metropole South Beach, Riviera South Beach, Sunbrite Apartments, Hollywood Beach Hotel + Hostel and the newly opened Tradewinds Apartment + Hotel.

Lieberman was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in Miami Beach, FL. While growing up in Miami Beach, he gained experience learning the hospitality industry alongside his father Alan Lieberman. At the tender age of 20, Lieberman brokered his own deal and purchased his first South Beach hotel. His specialty has been to identify areas that are up and coming to create a strong presence in the neighborhood. He has returned buildings to their original design and ultimately created venues that appeal to today’s hip traveler offering affordability without sacrificing style and comfort. The Miami Beach Preservation League has acknowledged the hotels' historic renovations and The Whitelaw recently won the "Best Architectural Rehab" award.

Lieberman is an active member of his community and serves on the board of the Collins Park Association and is a supporter of the New World Symphony, Sobe Arts Institute, which brings art and music to pre-Kindergarten thru high school students.
