Ian Rosenior

Ian Rosenior joined the Miami Dade Public Library System in 1993 and was assigned to the Miami Beach Library where he was the librarian in charge of Young Adult Services. Mr. Rosenior was promoted to the Main Library to head of the Young Adults department. He also served as the Assistant Branch Manager of the Northeast Branch Library before returning to the Miami Beach Regional Library as the Branch Manager. He received his qualifications in Library Science in the UK in 1983. He came to the United States in 1991, worked in New York as a teacher and later as librarian for the New York Public Library System. He has had over 30 years of experience as a librarian in public, educational and special libraries. He is a member of the American Library Association, where he has served and chaired committees, and is a member of the Library Association, (UK).

On coming to Miami Dade County, Ian s first home was in the Collins Park Neighborhood in 1993 and has lived within the this district on and off. He is presently not living in the Collins Park neighborhood, but he is still a Miami Beach resident.
