Barbara Morris

Barbara Jones Morris is acting Treasurer of the Collins Avenue Neighborhood Association. A native of New York, NY, she has had a long and illustrious career in the cosmetology and media industries. Her first enterprise was through television and print media as CEO of BJ Bubbles International, a company specializing in complete beauty makeovers from hair, nails, make-up, massage and wardrobe which operated for over 11 years. Ms. Morris's work has been featured in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elson, Essence and Trade Magazine and on "Good Morning New York", "The Bill Boggs Show" and "The Stanley Siegel Show". Since that time, she has been a segment writer and producer for FM radio stations WBLS and WWRL in New York City, and a beauty consultant through both her own Barbara Jones Morris Enterprise and American Airlines. Ms. Morris has professional affiliation and advance training with Paul Mitchell, Clairol, Vidal Sassoon and the Long Island Beauty School. Her hobbies include physical fitness, Nikken wellness, music and computers. Ms. Morris resides at the Roney Palace Gansevort Condominiums and may be reached at bjmakemeover22@aol.com.
